I've owned the Yamaha dtxtreme series electronic before, I tried to turn a Roland spd20 into a mini drum set by adding a bass drum trigger and additional pads. Nothing comes close to the Roland v Drums. They feel and sound amazing. The pre set drum kits are great and fully adjustable in every way possible. I wish the tom pads especially the floor tom were bigger. They look amazing and don't take up much room. The Yamaha kits don't even come close. Those huge rubber pads feel horrible. Stick with Roland
